Our_People.jpg

We are mariners, shipbuilders, and hospitality professionals. Each represents a different industry that American Cruise Lines is part of. More importantly, these set our company identity and have impacted our culture since our founding.

Hospitality Professionals Our craft is measured in happiness. We take pride in providing attentive, individualized service to discerning guests.

Mariners We operate ships 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This takes focus, discipline, and a culture of safety.

Shipbuilders We build what we have, with what we have.

Corporate We take pride in keeping the ship “afloat,” providing professional operational, marketing, sales, and customer service support.

Every job in every department onshore and onboard is influenced by our roots in all three. By remembering where we come from, we find common ground, support one another, and work across departments.

As individuals and as a company, four key values have driven our success and growth. We look for people who share our values and believe that they are important for individual job satisfaction and company identity.

Optimism Delivering our mission demands imagination, excitement, and a willingness to charge forward and explore.

Commitment Every day on ships brings new challenges. Persevere, respect one another, support your team, and follow the chain of command.

Patriotism Our mission is eight words; two of them include “America.” We are proud of our country and excited to explore it. We are also proud of our own “made in America” story.

Merit We are accountable for our actions and celebrate individual contributions to our team.

At American Cruise Lines there is a “team” mentality which fosters cohesion between all its members, no matter what position, on board or on shore. Every employee contributes to our overarching goal of providing our guests with the best possible cruise experience aboard the newest fleet in the United States. Our strategy is to hire ambitious, talented people and provide them with the training and support needed to be successful.  At American Cruise Lines, we not only recognize and reward our outstanding employees, we celebrate them.
