American Cruise Lines is always looking for engaging lecturers and talented musicians to come aboard and help us create lasting memories for our passengers. Our onboard entertainment enhances the experiences that our passengers receive on their shore excursions.

Guest lecturers introduce as well as expand upon the history learned at various ports of call. While on board, lecturers will give presentations or talks on relevant aspects of the cruise, escorting guests on shore tours and providing commentary when necessary. Successful candidates are experts in geography, ecology, American history, and/or knowledgeable about particular ports of call within an itinerary. Being an onboard lecturer is a great opportunity for recently retired teachers or university professors.

Our guest musicians entertain our passengers throughout the cruise. We look for acts that will complement our itineraries and are well suited to our passenger demographic. Performances are usually scheduled in the evening after dinner and are meant to further engage our passengers in the cruise destination.
